Ive seen it alot of places. and they even use it on TV News (ish ) shows. It seems to mean after you have advanced to where the information is. Your click or continuation is the Jumping I guess?

Just don't jump around or you will have to get up out ya seat.....

It is really an old Kinja thing. Before the jump is your lead paragraph, once you click you can read everything "after the jump" but with the way new Kinja formats media it doesn't matter where it is before or after the "jump" the first piece of media will be displayed.
